Mazes provide a fun way to practice fine motor skills that your child will need when learning to write. Extend the experience with a visit to your local zoo to find as many animals as you can that match those in the maze. Start your visit with a map of the zoo. Mark the places where matching animals live. Then have your child help follow the correct zoo path you need to take to see each animal.
